Tips to boost your ATS score
1. Use the right file format
Submit either .docx or a text-layer PDF (not a scanned image). Naukri.com auto-extracts text well from both. Avoid ".pages", ".odt", or password-protected PDFs.
2. Match keywords from the job description
If the JD says "Python, FastAPI, MongoDB, AWS", your resume should use those exact words — not just "Python frameworks" or "cloud platforms". ATS scoring is largely keyword frequency.
3. Quantify everything
Bad: "Improved system performance." Good: "Reduced API p95 latency from 800ms to 180ms (∓77%) by introducing Redis caching, serving 12 lakh daily users." Our AI auto-rewrites bullets in this style.
4. Standard section headings
